Apply stucco over concrete and cinder block walls. high winds with no mic. sorry
Hello, I was hired to apply a skim coat of plaster over these concrete and some cinder block walls, this job was located at the Masonic temple. The idea was to modernize the concrete walls with a cementitious skim-coat for cosmetic resurfacing to the loading dock. Then apply an acrylic stucco finish. We first power washed all the mold, dirt and moss off. Next we applied external corner reinforcement (corner aid). We then applied a skim coat to all the cinder block and concrete walls. After the plaster cured for at least two weeks, we hand applied an acrylic finish in order to match the building next to this loading dock.
PLEASE NOTE, some acrylics are terrible. They have very little acrylic formula added which makes them unable to spread out properly, these very low quality product will spider crack, sag and leave noticeable color variations on any projects. (They should not!) As a 30 year applicator I recommend you choose your acrylic wisely I have been burned several times and have had to re-do some work because of these inferior products. Google all the acrylics and read the reviews.
