Thank you all for watching this free crash course on correcting ugly stucco patches.
Now you know, have a wonderful day!

The good, bad and ugly stucco patches naturally showed how to stucco the nasty out of this lousy patchwork.

Hello everyone, in this short video, I show an example of a skim coating over bad stucco patches. It happens.

The same principles apply to skim coating over stucco, cinder block, brick, or plaster.
Likewise, we can apply skim coats over retaining walls, block walls, concrete, stucco, or brick.

A skim coat is a thinner coat than the traditional two-coat system. It’s usually about 1/4 inch to 3/8 of an inch thick for exteriors.
Typical exterior stucco systems are finishes are 7/8 thick.
