Howdy guys and gals, in this video I explain How to install a second coat of stucco and color finish on the same day.
We arrived expecting to just apply the color but learned the company or before us did not apply the brown coat to its proper fullness. We then had to apply the brown coat. (Fortunately I am prepared for these kinds of things) After the brown coat set we applied two coats of color to eliminate the ghosting effects as best as possible. We realized too late we should have included the actually application of the stucco color coat. (Ooops.) This kind of work had to be done extremely fast and I did need Jason’s help therefor he couldn’t use the camera until it was completed. Now Jason has a tripod to hold the camera. If I had just applied one color coat, when it dried the patch would have still been noticeable. (Ghosting effect)
