Hi Guys, this short video explains how we apply an acrylic finish over a painted finish so that the roofers tie in no longer shows through the paint job.
Portland cement plaster has traditionally been a three-coat cement system as described by all model building codes. Within the last few decades, acrylic have become very popular as an alternative finish coat to the traditional Portland cement “stucco” finish. Both finish coats are excellent finish materials, and can be integrally colored and are vapor permeable, but this is where the similarities end. (PLEASE NOTE) Some acrylic’s are of such extremely poor quality that no amount of years or skill will achieve even a decent finish. Research wisely and Google the acrylic products for reviews form customers or applicators. After 30 years and the use of most acrylics it’s a fact that they are not created equal.
Thanks for watching or reading, and have a groovy day!
