That’s correct, folks; in this video, we’re showing how to repair EIFS or external styrofoam stucco and how to repair the other side, sheetrock. Why, Because we can.
What is EIFS? Exterior insulation and finish system (EIFS) is a general class of non-load bearing building cladding systems that provides exterior walls with an insulated, water-resistant, finished surface in an integrated composite material system. In Europe, systems similar to EIFS are known as External Wall Insulation Systems (EWIS) and External Thermal Insulation Cladding System (ETICS).
It’s similar to Dry-Vit or the Stow stucco systems, both of which I have also done a lot of.
