Matching a failing tex coat with a stucco finish coat

Hello our friends, in this episode, we share how to correct bad or wrong finishes and match a text coat using a stucco finish.

As a rule, guys, Tex coats are shot on with a bonding agent and Perlite and paint.
The perlite is to hide the imperfection on any walls and so that the next coat will shoot from the gun hose.
If they used to sand, it would not shoot too well as sand is fives time heavier than Perlite.

The stucco finish you would apply is called sand grit heavy or 16/20 sand grit.
The companies that sell this finish cost are La Habra, Carsons, Western BMI’s Dry-vit, and a bunch more.
The important thing to remember is not the stucco manufacture, but the sand grit asks for 16/20 sand that has sand. It usually blends in perfectly with text coats.

The heavy finish 16/20 sand is best for matching a text coat.
