Hello everybody, in this video I am explaining how to tie in new plywood to the old fashioned and outdated Sheathing lath on a Berkeley home.

This exterior sheathing lath was used a lot in the early 1900’s most folks have no clue as to what the real name of these sheet’s are, (Myself included) from resin treated redwood lath to Berkley lath to v grove lath to a whole bunch of other names.

If any of you folks have any information as to the true name I’m all ears.

Please see our Berkeley new construction stucco and Berkeley stucco repair pages for more information on our services.
