Painted stucco patches #shortsfeed #paint #stuccorepair #shorts #painting #finishedwork #skills

I believe this will be one of the least watched shorts ever, as it’s results, and not skilled movements, but an experiment of mine.
Stucco patches after painting. it’s a three minute video if anyone is interested in it, https://youtu.be/f6BEXuiSD98/

Many folks ask why we don’t show our work after it’s painted. It’s an excellent question.
Our work must be cured for at least two weeks to 28 days before a homeowner can paint.
It takes us twice as long to stucco a job if we video most of it, as now one man is working while the other is filming.
Going back to show what it looks like in any video is impossible due to the time required and the spinning of our wheels, as some don’t paint for months or even years.

Been there, and doing that time-consuming nonsense to prove a point is foolish.
This patchwork happened to be about 10 blocks from the house, so here it is.

As a rule, all plasterers have a different fingerprint pattern, as my son Jason says.
It is impossible to match every finish exactly, but we do our best.
The fact is, I can and do notice any patchwork done by another or myself. Every one.
Thus we do the best we can, which is for those with untrained eyes for feathering in.
