Plastering or stucco a fence method, using wood or CMU blocks

My pal wanted a privacy fence in this video but planned on using CMU (concrete masonry unit) blocks.
He asked for my opinion as it was known the labor and cost to build the CMU back wall and apply stucco.
I said, “my friend, there are many ways to skin a cat or build a fence that can be stuccoed.”
If you watchers had a choice of Plaster or Stucco fence methods, or CMU blocks, which would you prefer? Keep in mind cement blocks are heavy!
Plus, the foundation should have pored and two feet of a block under the dirt for foundation support. I’m exhausted just thinking about it.
