Plastering over durock cement board to wire or not to wire, that is the question
Plastering a pizza oven applying both skim and finish coat

Howdy folks, in this step by step video, I explain how we apply stucco to the exterior of this outside pizza oven framed with durock cement board.
We applied stucco to the top half a few years ago with a Santa Barbara smooth finish to it.
It was later raised and a new wall built using durabond under it, so we came back and applied stucco to the lower section to match the top section with the same stucco finish.
Note the owner was starting to wire the one side of the Durock cement board, we left it alone, we did not wire the rest as this was not necessary.
