Professional Plastering tips on lath, scratch and brown coat

How to repair a stucco wall with incorrect lath.
Hi guys, this video explains the proper way to remove and re-install stucco to an existing stucco wall. The previous wall was not lathed or plastered correctly. When we exposed the lath, we found they had overlapped their new paper on top of the paper above it, instead of having the new paper underneath. This completely compromised the water resistance of the system. We installed our new lath properly, and when it passed inspection we applied two coats of plaster.
