Howdy, folks, I was called to remove and repair a buckling ceiling in this video.
I declined as I would have done more damage than good.
My work would have been apparent after the painting, so to avoid the homeowner calling me and yelling at me for something I couldn’t do (nor did I believe it could be done), we simply screwed it back and did a tiny fix, which I felt would blend in much better.
By the way, the gypsum plaster I used sets in 20 minutes.
