Skip troweling portland cement plaster versus color coat finish

Howdy guys and gal, in this video I try and explain the different grits of sand which are necessary to match an existing stucco finish.
The first fix might look right, however when it’s painted it would have been 3 times as heavy and quite noticeable.
The color coat I used next, when painted would be a much tighter match as it was a similar sand grain used as the original, except a tiny bit softer due to matching an existing finish which has been softened by years of painting.
