We used regular Portland-based stucco mixed with one part stucco to three parts sand.
Not our usual Olimpia or Felton sand sold at our preferred professional yards, such as Westside building materials.
But one called “stucco sand,” is sold at most rock quarries, as they are a courser grain of sand.
