view painted stucco patches after painting

Howdy guys and gals, in this video I explain the question should a person paint whole walls after stucco patches or just paint the new stucco? Painting new stucco patches is similar to feathering in new stucco to existing stucco. Both techniques require much practice. I tell folks to get their existing color computer custom matched and when possible paint the entire wall or up to certain points such as under windows. This video illustrates how painting can be done for best results. In the front porch area they could have gone up to the windows for better results, or all the way to the top. Rule of thumb for color coating and painting go corner to corner if possible. And always wait at least 28 days for the new stucco to cure properly before painting.
Lastly, most homeowners can see a stucco patch but the average person should not be able to see it unless you know what you are looking at.
Me I can see all new stucco patches including my own as it’s what I do for a living.
