Waterproofing behind a brick chimney
Howdy guys and you DIY gals, in this stucco video we explain how to waterproof behind a chimney using the tyvek stuccowrap and Jumbo Tex 2 ply paper with expanding foam to really get as far back into the chimney as possible. The idea was to rid the back of the chimney of air space so mice or bugs don’t decide to move in.
P.S. my son says “dad do you have to ramble on about goofy stuff like the wasp story” I said, “sorry dude it’s just part of my nature!” Anyone out there with the same thoughts simply disregards my goofy reference stories.
