In this video, we are explaining how to do a swirl texture in a stucco wall.
This stucco wall has been painted many times over a hundred years.
Thus the paint softens the texture look slightly.
All stucco has sand; in fact, When mixed properly, it has three times the sand for every one part of Portland stucco.
Plastering is often improvising and informing clients of tips to ensure they get the closest texture to what they currently have.
Rarely do I suggest that folks double-prime a new finish?
This was to ensure two things as the paper was deteriorated or missing, double priming will seal the new stucco plus soften the appearance so that normal grit does not catch a person’s eye.
