That’s a joke, my friends, as no one can match every texture. The experts and or professionals can come close. However, stucco textures or finishes are like fingerprints. Each applicator has a unique texture.

In this video, we explain how to match stucco skip trowel finishes.
Keep in mind there are three sand grits, Choss the right one.

The key to matching any stucco texture is the grit of the sand.
There are three sand grits fine, medium, and heavy. So if you can determine which sand grit was used, that’s half the battle. The other half is applying it.
Just remember the sorry of the three bears.

I say no one can match a skip trowel texture with the base mud, However, in the video below, I did just that, but I’m supposed to be able to. I’m a professional.

Also, after a few months, the homeowner called us back and asked if we could improve all the original bottom windows. I said we couldn’t make them perfect, but I knew we could make them much better than they were. Below is that beautiful process.
